Hewan di Lahan Gambut Kabupaten Kubu Raya

Lahan gambut memiliki banyak fungsi dan manfaat, salah satu fungsinya yaitu lahan gambut merupakan habitat asli bagi beberapa jenis hewan dan tumbuhan. Beberapa hewan yang hidup di lahan gambut Kabupaten Kubu Raya antara lain :

  1. Orangutan Kalimantan (Pongo pygmaeus)
  2. Lutung Merah (Presbytis rubicunda)
  3. Rangkong Gading (Buceros rhinoceros)
  4. Burung Ruak-ruak (Amaurornis phoenicurus)
  5. Buaya Sinyulong (Tomistoma schlegelii)
  6. Ikan Gambus (Ophiocephalus sp.; Channa sp.; Parachanna sp.)
  7. Ikan Arwana (Scleropages formosus)
  8. Bekantan (Nasalis larvatus)
  9. Rusa (Rusa unicolor)
  10. Trenggiling (Manis javanica)
  11. Ular Puraca (Python breitenstein)
  12. Tiong Emas (Gracula religiosa)
  13. Ikan Ringau (Datnioides microlepis)
